This week we went to the Great Wall. It was a long way to the top. The area is amazingly rugged. It is also amazing that such a hugh piece of construction could be placed in this terrian.

Here is view of the rugged terrain in area of the Great Wall. With this terrain you wonder why you need a Great Wall.
Here we are posing (resting) again. It is hard to believe that the army road horses over the Great Wall. The horses must have been in great shape.
The sun is coming in at a low angle and we need to make tracks or we won't be able to see the steps at the bottom of the wall.
